What’s the happiest day of your life?

I have seen this question being asked to people in series and movies where people reminiscence that particular moment where they think they were the happiest.

If someone did not recollect the exact moment where they felt they were the most happiest, every now and then it was shown that they could pinpoint one such moment after some deliberation.

All I want to know is what sort of deliberations help people to decide on choosing the best out of the bests because I am so indecisive when it comes to things like these.

For example I took up this task for myself and I found myself under pressure to locate that happy moment in my mind and I was utterly disappointed and left unsatisfied when I could not. In that moment it felt like my whole life was a waste since I could not even remember what my happiest moment looks like!

But kids don’t forget the one most important thing that nobody every mentions; under all the illusion of happiness that gets portrayed there are always a series of dissatisfaction and disappointments that preceded it which nobody knows of.

There’s one more thing that I realised. I noticed that people were able to locate their happy moments to one circumstance where they were surrounded with a few people or that which included one or two persons from their lives that made it to the golden list.

The thing that confuses me is that is it really possible to attach only a set people to our happiest moment?

If someone asks me what my happiest moment looks like, I would probably try to imagine a circumstance where they are involved and think of a situation where they are also a part of or are likely to be part of it. If someone else asks the same question then in all likelihood I would try to fit them into a circumstance where I could see myself at my happiest where they share a part.

What I am trying to say to you Readers is that when such open ended questions are asked I find it difficult to restrict it to a specific type. In fact when I see others doing just the opposite of what I am not able to wrap my head around, I am not sure if it’s because it is possible or it’s because it has been portrayed taking into consideration a single frame of reference. Either my thinking is very unique to put me through this dilemma or we need more people to tell their side of the story so that we are not left with just a standalone depiction of reality. Help me out know it better if you relate to this.

Until next time, Readers ❤️
